Note on the payment currency: DOGE is used since the payment processor that manages crypto donations for this charity does not accept Algorand (very large manual payments can be paid in Algorand however). We have looked into every crypto they accept and DOGE comes out the cheapest when moving Algorand to an exchange, converting it to DOGE, then sending it to the charity.
